Originally from the Basque region of Spain, I played professional Jai-Alai for 18 years prior to pursuing my PTA degree. I received my degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from Housatonic Community College, where I awarded with the graduating Class of 2000 PTA Leadership Award.
I was also awarded with Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Other recognition/awards include Employee of the Year award at St. Francis Hospital.I’ve been with Carlson Procare for over two decades.

In my role at the company, I am dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopedic issues and sports medicine conditions. My expertise encompasses a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, focusing on bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. I am particularly skilled in assisting athletes and individuals with sports-related injuries or orthopedic challenges, ensuring optimal care and recovery guidance. I have a special interest in treating extremity conditions, especially those involving the shoulder. I am committed to transforming the physical therapy experience for my patients, who often come with pain, fear, and doubt, into a positive and trust-filled journey towards a confident and pain-free recovery.
I enjoy the great staff, company’s vision and patient population. Carlson Procare has become my second family.

I have used Carlson Procare for a previous injury and the staff was absolutely superb. They do a great job assessing your needs, your strengths and your weaknesses. Along with giving you the tools to help you return to a normal life. They really take good care of you. I have previously returned for their assistance in helping me through a serious fall which involves several injuries. There are truly right on top of it.
