Dr. Casey Foley
Physical Therapist
PT, DPT
I grew up in Chappaqua, New York. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami in 2009, and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2014. Since graduating, I have lived and worked in South Florida and Southwest Virginia. However, I have recently settled in Connecticut with my husband and our two boys.
I am licensed to practice physical therapy in 3 states and have 10 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedics. I have worked with a wide range of patients helping them manage pain, recover from surgery, return to sports, and decrease their risk of falling and injury. I have additional certifications as an LSVT Big provider for patients with Parkinson’s disease and as a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist.
My core values are compassion, integrity, teamwork, and self-discipline.
“Don’t stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done”
What I do here at Carlson ProCare is evaluate and treat patients for a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions, using a combination of patient education, manual techniques, physical modalities, and customized exercises to help alleviate pain, maximize movement, and return patients to doing what they love. I specialize in treating patients with Parkinson’s disease, orthopedic injuries, gait and balance impairments, and pregnancy and postpartum-related dysfunction.
Something patients deal with that I would like to fix is when patients suffer an injury, it not only affects them physically, it impacts their overall well-being. In addition to treating the injury, I like to focus on helping patients manage and adapt to their new circumstances to improve their overall quality of life.
I am passionate about helping people improve their quality of life at every stage. I enjoy treating a range of orthopedic conditions including overuse injuries, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. I also enjoy addressing gait and balance dysfunction, postpartum and pregnancy-related conditions, and helping patients maximize function as they age.
Something I love about working at Carlson ProCare is the entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive of each other and the patients. The environment is positive and welcoming. It’s the ideal environment for rehab and recovery.
