During your first visit, a thorough medical history will be taken, along with present symptoms you are experiencing, comprehensive physical exam, and a discussion about the course of action that will be taken along with follow up to any tests and imaging orders. After a careful assessment, your Naturopathic Doctor will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan.

Medical acupuncture is an adaptation of Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture; a technique of inserting a series of fine needles strategically around the body to treat imbalances of energy, or chi, in the body. Medical acupuncture is an effective modality that stimulates targeted body systems using the principles of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Specific points are used and stimulated to decrease pain, facilitate nerves or muscles, release fascia, and improve flow of fluid in the body. Often, the acupuncture points used in Traditional Chinese Medicine are also used in medical acupuncture.
