I was born and raised in Connecticut, and I truly love calling this state home. I’ve spent more than 20 years working in various areas of the medical field, and even though this is my first year with Carlson Procare, I’ve learned something important along the way: healthcare is never easy, no matter the setting. It’s not a job where you simply clock in and out — you show up with purpose, compassion, and commitment. I genuinely love the field I’m in.
I feel especially inspired when working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery. Watching someone regain their strength, independence, and confidence is incredibly rewarding. Being part of that journey — from their earliest steps to the moment they realize how far they’ve come — is one of the best parts of my work.
What I love most about Carlson Procare is the supportive, empowering environment. It’s inspiring to work in a place where patients and staff alike feel heard, valued, and encouraged. What stands out to me about Carlson is that the focus isn’t just on protocols or anatomy — it’s about helping people reclaim their lives. Being part of a team that lifts up its patients and lifts up each other is truly special.
I’m motivated every day by the progress I see in the people we treat. Whether it’s a major milestone, like walking comfortably again, or a meaningful moment, like being able to lift a grandchild, these achievements are powerful reminders of why I chose this profession. Their determination fuels mine.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, hiking, and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. I also love a good shopping trip or brunch outing — anything that brings joy, laughter, and connection.
