Gramos Mejdolli

PT, DPT

I’m originally from Albania, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and began my professional career. I later moved to Germany, where I continued practicing and expanding my clinical skills before relocating to the United States. After settling here, I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Connecticut.

I joined Carlson Procare in June 2025, and it has been an incredibly positive experience. I’m licensed to practice in three countries and speak six languages — Albanian, English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. Being multilingual has allowed me to connect deeply with patients from diverse backgrounds, not only through language but through cultural understanding, which helps me provide truly personalized and meaningful care.

I enjoy working with a wide range of patients, with a particular passion for sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative and spine-related cases. That said, I’m not picky — if it’s something I can treat, I’m happy to treat it. What inspires me most is helping people return to the activities they love and seeing their quality of life improve along the way.

What I love most about Carlson Procare is the energy. Everyone is willing to help, and even on the busiest days, the environment remains positive and never feels overwhelming. I also appreciate how receptive and supportive the management team is — they listen, they value feedback, and they give us the flexibility and tools we need to do our best work. And yes… the espresso machine definitely doesn’t hurt.

A quote I read years ago has always stayed with me: “If you’re not making someone else’s life better, you’re wasting your time.” I’ve always been a people person, and seeing patients progress fuels me. When things get tough, I remind myself why I chose this profession: to help people move, heal, and live better. Knowing I can make a real difference in someone’s life is incredibly rewarding, and honestly, I think physical therapy is the best profession in the world — and the best part is, we actually get paid to do it.

Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors or staying active — and always planning my next trip to Europe. I love exploring new coffee shops, proudly beating older opponents in pickleball, going fishing (and catching absolutely nothing), running, and hitting the gym. I also enjoy reading — and no, I don’t go apple picking, because I refuse to pay for my own labor. I try to enjoy life, laugh often, and make the most of every day.
